International superstar Hans, the boy wonder of Berlin, serves up an all-singing, all-tap dancing, accordion-pumping, glittering blitzkrieg of cabaret, backed by his three-piece band The Ungrateful Bastards!

Hans America's Got TalentHans is the creation of Adelaide performer and entertainment journalist Matt Gilbertson, and first shanteyed his way onto an Australian stage in 2003. We started flirting with Hans in 2016 and then in 2017 we helped Matt bring Hans to the UK for the first time ever, staging a wildly successful preview at the Underbelly Festival in London, followed by a mobbed and riotous run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Hans’ quest for world domination continues, and in 2018 he took on the US of A. Check Netflix to see Hans charm the pants off the Americas Got Talent judges. He may not have won, but we’re pretty sure he gave Simon Cowell some highly erotically charged night terrors.

Hans: Like a German

With more sparkle than a Studio 54 mirrorball and more feathers than a battery hen farm, hilarious Hans will have you slapping your thighs so hard, you’ll think it’s Oktoberfest.

He’s a little Marlene, a little Madonna. A little Minogue, a little… Merkel. Hans is the ultimate showboy…in a pair of showgirl hot pants.

What’s new…

Hans seduced men left, right and centre at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017, notching up two 5-star reviews as well as being named Best Cabaret Performance at the Scottish Sun Fringe Gongs.

In 2018, he returned to the UK for an almost sold-our run of new show Like A German.

He is currently taking UK booking for early 2019. This young German really does get around, and he’ll do anything (or anyone) for the chance to take centre stage, so if you’d like to discuss booking him this winter, get in touch. He’ll most likely be willing and able to fill your slot.

A bit about Matt…

Matt has performed for many years, but in South Australia he’s perhaps best known as celebrity gossip reporter for Nova 919. During his time at Nova, he interviewed some of the world’s biggest stars, including Nicole Kidman, Fergie, and Pink, and covered A-list red carpet events, like the Logie Awards, MTV Awards, and numerous Aria Awards.

In 2008, he achieved a world record for continuous accordion playing, squeezing out almost 30 consecutive hours of Madonna tunes without a break. This record remains unbeaten.
