To mark the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising in New York City, Civil Disobedience has partnered with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society to create three public provocations and an ambitious LGBTQ+ mixer that aims to be the biggest toast in the city, all celebrating the past and looking to the future.
Persistent and Nasty is a script reading and debate series for female identified humans working, writing and performing in the stage and screen industry. It was born from the frustration and anger of four actresses/writers, fed-up with the treatment of women across the industry; from the lack of profile female writers get, to the way that women are treated in the casting process.
