Call out for performing artists

We’re seeking central Scotland-based performers to collaborate on an immersive club experience being piloted this World Aids Day (December 1st) in Edinburgh, supporting XS (Waverley Care).

About Civil Disobedience

Civil Disobedience is a conglomerate of creative producers/theatre makers creating and supporting work that addresses issues of inequality and injustice in the world. We’re based in Edinburgh, though we collaborate with artists globally. Project lead for this proposal is Barry Church-Woods, an established producer, accomplished writer and emerging maker.

What we’re looking for

Brilliant performers with great banter; live singers, lip sync kings and queens, freaks, geeks, and dancing uniques…and any hidden talents.

What’s Required?

Participating artists will be required to attend a 2-hour development meeting in Edinburgh during the last week of October, where a rehearsal schedule will be set based on team availability.

All participating artists must be free on 29th and 30th November and all day on 1st December.

Stage 1 development of Unfuck Yourself is a fundraiser for Waverley Care and will be unpaid.

Future development stages of the production and presentation after December 1st will be paid at ITC/Equity recommended rates.

If you are interested in hearing more about this project, please email to arrange an informal chat/audition.
